We will definitely be back!! The views were stunning. Enjoyed our coffee watching the eagles fly down the river and the elk grazing. Awesome alternative for lodging if visiting Yellowstone. Located right outside the park in Gardiner, cute town nestled by the Yellowstone river. Rooms were exceptionally clean and also had air condition. Which was nice, visited in August where the temps got into the 90s.

We are from NY and stayed at the Inn for one night before our trek into the Park. IF they have availability, we highly recommend staying at the Inn. The rooms were immaculate. The Inn owners are a pleasure to talk to and will impart any local wisdom or advise that you are looking for. With regard to the breakfast, this was an incredible pleasant surprise. All the food was cooked fresh. There were fresh baked breads and muffins as well. This was a great way to start our day before going into the park. This Inn is outside of Gardiner. You truly cannot appreciate the location until you actually get there and see it. This was a fantastic find. Thank you very much!

From the time we checked in, until we left, the management of this beautiful establishment were helpful, kind, and very informative. The room was spacious and beautifully kept up, and the views were awesome of the mountains around us, and the herd of elk that surrounded the Inn. what a great choice it was that we chose this place to stay and would be honored and happy to come back again. We just finished breakfast, and it was truly amazing and a great way to start the day on our trip home. Kudos to the owners of this beautiful establishment

We enjoyed our stay! The views are spectacular and the rooms are comfy and clean. It’s a beautiful and peaceful location. Close to the north entrance to Yellowstone, with plenty of restaurants and hiking trails nearby. The Yellowstone river is so close and the sounds of it going to bed and waking up were my favorite part!

We enjoyed a pleasant stay in a room with a view of the valley, a delicious breakfast, and—I'm not kidding—one of the lovely views from the breakfast area! Janette and her husband made sure we had everything we wanted even though we were a bit late for breakfast. we stayed with our 2 kids, room were spacious with comfortable bed. we would love to be back. :)

We (family of 4) stayed in the Yellowstone Suite and it was exactly what we needed and were hoping to get! The suite was large enough for all of us to have personal space, and the kitchen was great for cooking and had everything we needed. We loved the view from the living room - the picture window looks out over the parking lot to the mountains and it's gorgeous. The breakfast provided was also great. The location was good - it's just out of town so you can get away from the noise and traffic, but still very close to the northern Yellowstone entrance and an even quicker trip to the nearby Sinclair gas station and Ridley's grocery store. Overall a very good experience!

Yellowstone basin inn was an awesome find! We stayed 4 nights 5-28 thru 6-1 in the valley view room, and what a view, if not devil's slide than the couple hundred elk across the road to watch every night. Janette and her husband knock it out of the park on hospitality. The different homemade breakfast everyday was delicious. To come back from the park every night to a very clean and spacious room was a nice plus, and the beds are comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer. Keep up the good work.

We loved our stay at Yellowstone Basin Inn. Our room was very nice. The room has been recently updated. The bathroom and shower/ tub look brand new. The bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect for spending your days in Yellowstone park and enjoying the quiet mountain view at the inn in the evening. We were there for 3 nights and every morning breakfast was different and wonderful. My favorite was the homemade coffee cake. Picture was taken from the front porch.
